Our Journey |
After getting certified on our honeymoon in Maui in 1995 our lives were changed forever! We both instantly fell in love with beautiful life underwater. Jolene was the first to take up underwater photography with a Sea & Sea MotorMarine camera. Steve soon followed with a Nikonos IV and then a Nikonos V.
Wanting scuba diving to be a part of our lives, we both became scuba instructors in 2000 and started teaching in Maple Grove, MN. When Sealife came out with their first digital camera (a whopping 1MP), they gave one of the prototypes to Steve to test and shoot some promo images in Palau. About a year later Steve also shot some promo pictures for INON showing off their in depth line of point-n-shoot digicam strobes, conversion lenses, and accessories. Soon there after Steve and Jolene both went to work for INON America running operations for the Americas and Caribbean. Steve also worked with Watershot on their consumer DSLR camera housing project and distributed Fisheye FIX lights. After INON America, Steve & Jolene wanted to get back to doing more diving and Purchased Going Under Dive Center and changed the name to Aquaventure Dive & Photo Center. We hope you enjoy our gallery. Most of the images in these galleries were shot with various Canon DSLR cameras however, there are a number of point-n-shoot and film images as well since they were part of our past. |
